Our community agreement
- Discuss the experience, without attacking the person. Thoughtful alternative explanations are welcome.
- Only upload material you own or have permission to share. Disclose edits, reenactments and AI-generated material.
- Protect privacy. Avoid precise home addresses, identifying details about others, and private recordings without consent.
- No threats, harassment, hate, graphic injury, sexual content, spam, or dangerous investigation challenges.
- Do not trespass or put yourself at risk to collect evidence.
What moderation means
Member encounters, attachments and comments are reviewed before public display. Approval means content meets our community rules; it does not verify a paranormal explanation. You can report a published encounter from its page.
Your story in a future Fringe Mob video
You keep ownership of your story and any media you own. When you expressly agree to this permission while submitting an encounter, you give Fringe Mob non-exclusive permission to use your approved story and approved accompanying media in future Fringe Mob videos, including narrated accounts and dramatized adaptations, and to publish and share those videos.
Fringe Mob may edit, condense, rearrange, narrate, reenact and dramatize the presentation at its creative discretion, while preserving the core events and essential meaning of your account. Recreated dialogue, scenes, visuals and other creative additions will be presented as dramatization, not as your original words or verified evidence.
Full credit will always be given. Each video using your contribution will credit you as the original contributor using your Fringe Mob display name, or another credit name agreed with you, in the video or its accompanying credits or description. We will not disclose your private email address or legal name without your permission.
You confirm that you own the material or have permission from the relevant rights holders to authorize these uses. This permission covers only content approved for publication; it does not include private drafts or rejected attachments. It does not transfer ownership to Fringe Mob or prevent you from sharing your story elsewhere.
This permission applies only to submissions for which you expressly accept it. Previously submitted stories require that acceptance or separate permission before adaptation.
Your information
Your display name, bio and approved contributions are public. Your email, drafts, pending submissions and private attachments are available only to you and authorized administrators. The site uses a session cookie for signing in. Contact the site operator for account access or deletion requests.
